The key statistics summarise the ”figures” of the shop, i.e. the number of payments, the number of payments per week, total turnover, average turnover per week, average turnover per payment, number of new payments and the total amount of new payments. The date tracker helps you create an overview of any given period of your choice.
The key statistics are divided into three groups, i.e. “Authorised”, “Captured” and “Refunded”. Transactions authorised within the chosen period fall under “Authorised”. Transactions captured within the chosen period fall under “Captured”. Note that there may be a time difference between the authorisation and the capture why the two statistics (“Authorised” and “Captured”) may differ in their number of transactions. Moreover, the authorisation and the capture may differ when an amount smaller than the one originally stated during the authorisation, is captured.
The amount stated next to each captured transaction (“Amount”/”Number”) stands for the so-called “average basket size”. In other words, it tells you how big an amount has been spent by the average customer.
